Season 3 of a start-up mentoring program with a global MNC kicked off. Bringing to the venture the wide business and managerial skills of the team from the MNC.
Enjoyed doing a team building and design sprint, empathizing with the target community & conducting workshops virtually. Wonderful experience leveraging ZOOM, Mural and Teamwork to conduct a highly energetic and engaging workshops over two days. Learning to put to use these wonderful tools to enhance engagement and participation.
Loved the way these sessions transformed them into a team with a larger purpose. At the end of two days, I could sense the energy, passion and commitment all around. I could not stop smiling.
Virtual workshops are here to stay.
Now full of ideas for 5 a day module coming up in November.
This is an excellent model for every social entrepreneur and start-ups. This is also an excellent model for companies to build leadership skills. Lessons for all Corporates as well as Incubators and Accelerators.
Any takers?
If you sense some discomfort maybe you are resisting something. Do reflect on what you are resisting. The present moment is perfect the way it is. Can you do something about what you are resisting else you have to accept it?
Accepting current moment is wisdom.
A recent company I am working with could build a sharp focus on targeting the right companies. Starting with a total set of companies of 350, we brought it down to 135 using industry and financial filters.
We further brought it down to 85 using people size filters, applying readiness filters we then zeroed in on 30 companies that we should pursue in the next 6 to 12 months.
Then applying propensity to buy filters, we are now ready to target 15 of these companies in the next 3 months. We expect high conversion ratios.
What filters are you using to create your unique market?
For the help at my home it is 10 on scale of 10. She works very hard walks perhaps 10 to 15 km in a day, has a drunk as a spouse, yet she believes she has made progress by leaps and bounds and has this immense trust, that the universe wants her to succeed.
Are you complaining experiencing the lack of good things and see your glass half empty, or are you grateful, full of confidence and seeing your glass half full?
You are responsible for your reality.
Why do people lose their cool? I've been pondering on this for over a week and I must admit, the thought came up when I lost my cool at something trivial. That usually is the case, right? We lose our cool over trivial matters.
But why do we do so?
