Pooja is the Founding CEO of The Udaiti Foundation focused on women’s economic empowerment. She is the recipient of Women Transforming India Award by the Govt of India for her contribution to education and skill development. Pooja is a three-time entrepreneur having cofounded and led Avishkaar, which is a platform to support children learn next gen tech skills like Robotics, AI, IoT and Coding. Avishkaar was named in the top 100 disruptive start-ups to watch out for worldwide by Analytics India and has set up over 2000 robotics labs across schools in India and the world. Her previous start-up, Intellitots was in the early years education space and was acquired by Founding Years(KLAY). She worked at Adobe in the Bay Area for many years where she managed the Acrobat product marketing team and ran the print and scan business.
Pooja invests in women-led companies and supports women entrepreneurs through SheEO club that she co-founded. She is one of the founders of Plaksha University and actively supports many accelerators like Rebalance and STEP. She has been an active contributor to social sector organisations working at grassroots to bolster women entrepreneurship and skill development.
Pooja graduated from IIT Delhi with B-tech in Chemical Engineering and later did her MBA from INSEAD, France. She reads and travels widely, loves music, sings and is learning to play the piano.
