Sandeep Kumar Maini is an Industrial & Production Engineer, an alumnus of Manipal Institute of Technology. His journey with the Maini Group began in 1989, and in 2007, he ascended to the position of Chairman of the Maini Group. Under his leadership, the Maini Group has grown into a conglomerate with a diverse portfolio of companies operating both domestically and internationally. These companies are engaged in various sectors, including Automotive & Aerospace, Material Handling, Warehousing and Storage Solutions, Plastics & Composites, and Electric & Autonomous Mobility Solutions.

Among the notable companies within the Maini Group are Maini Materials Movement, Armes Maini Storage Systems, and Maini Plastics And Composites, where Sandeep serves as Chairman & Managing Director. He also holds the position of Director at Maini Precision Products and Sun Mobility. Additionally, he acts as Managing Partner at VIRYA Mobility 5.0 and is the Managing Trustee of Maini Kalyan Sama Kendra, which represents Maini Group’s CSR initiative.

Beyond his entrepreneurial endeavors, Sandeep Maini has actively contributed to the leadership of industry and international organizations. Within the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), he has held several influential roles, including Founder Chairman of Young Indians – Bangalore Chapter from 2004 to 2006, Elected Member of Karnataka State Council and Southern Regional Council from 2009 to 2012, Vice Chairman of Karnataka State Council in 2013-2014, and Chairman of Karnataka State Council in 2014-2015.

In the Young Presidents Organisation (YPO), Sandeep Maini’s leadership journey has been remarkable. He currently holds the position of Regional Chair (Gold) for the South Asia Region for the term 2022-2024. Prior to this, he served as the Regional Forum Officer for South Asia Gold from 2020 to 2022 and as the Membership Officer on the Regional Board – South Asia from 2012 to 2014. Notably, he also held the position of Regional Chair for South Asia from 2014 to 2016 and served as a Member of the International Membership Committee from 2014 to 2016.

In addition to his contributions to the business world, Sandeep Maini has been honored with the role of Honorary Consul of Mexico in Bangalore & Telangana since 2018. His multifaceted career and commitment to leadership across industries reflect his dedication to both business excellence and community engagement.
